Yes, it's about time you two sorted out BT10 once and for all...

After a long search I found that ALL the backtrack series were pressed in 1995 ........................ prove me wrong
As with a number of pressings [including the one I'm looking into now] it is almost impossible to get to the bottom of things. Even recent pressings are difficult to really pin down for no other reason that details from pressing plants are either hard to obtain or worse still, vague. So factor in 40 plus years and you know it's going to be close to impossible to resolve the BT 10 album issues and the odd Dutch PH 45 [black label], more recently which pressing is from a digital file etc etc etc or spent "time" in the digital world before returning to analog.

Tim, this link goes against what you put up in JP if I remember correctly, what do you think? I recall you put up more detail and I should re read the article.

Have been chatting to Jeff Gold about this and sent him the article from JP I did on EL.
Waiting for him to get back with his thoughts.
However I now have 3 blue txt copies and all show the blue text is covering up the white text. Pretty obvious "It was a Cover Up"?
I have seen a few more and you can see the cover up if you look hard enough. Any of you checked your copies?
He did mention he believed the single sleeve version I had was made up for a ebay sale?
Of course it wouldn´t be difficult to dismantle an original and put this one together but if Track were having difficulties printing the sleeves this may just have been one put together as a temporary measure to ship out to the BBC. Because of the vinyl inside with Sides 1, 2 , 3 & 4 instead of ABCD and also each vinyl with 613008 and 613009 and incorrect titles on wrong sides I am inclined to believe this was a factory mistake and was a early copy.
We also saw in recent times one or two more appear with new labels stuck on top of the labels as I described!

Never ending story this Track stuff!
