Right on cue, I've just posted them out to subscribers.

Celebrating with an East Coast Pale Ale.

The deliberate mistake for this issue (good spot, Malcolm) in that the McGough & McGear release is official not bootleg. Another (inexcusable) cut and paste error.

Arrived this morning and looks like plenty to digest.

Nice counter balance articles with the differing perspectives of the flat.

Interesting the notes about the RAH 18th boots. If anyone wants to supply me with a copy of the CD boot I'd like to sit with this and the LP I have here. I can guess the source of the CD if I need to but would like to give it a fair chance in all this and play it at home on the ear goggles :-). My guess is the internet circulated [utube etc] version with added reverb to the "dry" sbd. This would make it slightly less in quality than the version as was shared between those few collectors?!?

Ah, it arrived in New Jersey today, and looks like a great issue - as always! Looking forward to reading it front-to-back...

Nice to see Lemmy remembered in Jimpress. Lemmy made veiled references to Jimi in a couple of Motörhead songs, info below. Also, the extras on the dvd / blu-ray "Jimi Hendrix - The Guitar Hero" (2 disc directors cut) include a nearly half hour interview with Lemmy talking about Jimi, you won't always agree with what he says but if you are a fan of both bands it's very entertaining.

On "I'm So Bad (Baby I Don't Care)" from the album "1916":

"I make love to mountain lions,
Sleep on red-hot branding irons,
When I walk the roadway shakes,
Bed's a mess of rattlesnakes,
Voodoo child, black cat bone,
Scratch your back, hear you moan"

And on "Build For Speed" from the album "Orgasmatron":
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8a1m9jUNJsk

"Don't you listen to a single word
Against rock'n'roll
The new religion, the electric church
The only way to go"

And one more that I forgot about, "Love For Sale" from the album "Snake Bite Love":

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bOm7L0WRfBU

"Looking good, stepping out, looking for romance
Crazy arms, crazy legs, save me the last dance
Hold me tight, make me warm, give me shelter
Treat me right, in from the storm, helter skelter"
