Jimpress 119 will be published 1 September 2020. Hopefully this means it will reach most subscribers by the 18th. Someone needs to do something on this monumental anniversary; that would appear to be me.

I received my Jimpress 119 today great. But there is no page 107 and 108. Is this an isolated printers fault or is everyones copy the same?

Just a one-off. It was your turn for the dodgy copy. :D

Bloody hell, 109 pages!!! :o You doth spoil us, Sir Henry

As for Mike's 107 pager, I'd say he's got a collectors item worth £££'s.

And an intelligent member of the aristocracy such as yourself should know that 109 pages isn't possible. But yes, I doth spoil you, time and again.

1) Just popped that in to see if you were paying attention. 8-)
2) Didn't want you getting too bigheaded - 110 pages, how many pages before it's classed as a book?
3) Maths was never my strong subject....now, beer drinking, that's another matter :P

Many thanks, superb issue!

2) I think it became a book when we started perfect binding.
3) We can always discuss over a pint, then argue over another pint, then agree to be besht mates over another.

Recently read the Mick Wall book and learned more about the enigma that was Mike Jeffery than in all the other Hendrix bios put together! He is the first biographer to really take the trouble to research Jimi's manager, others have barely scratched the surface on a man who was manager or co-manager of Jimi for the last 4 years of his life.

The Margaret Redding article about the Isle of Wight concert is intriguing. It would be great if a future JIMPRESS includes more stories about her association with the group.
