Readers of rock music magazines might like to know that the June issue of 'Planet Rock' will be on sale on Friday June 5th. I mention this because it includes a special feature on the impact Jimi Hendrix made when he arrived in London back in 1966. It will be a collectors' item because sadly this will be the last but one edition of a great publication, falling by the wayside due to the effects of a certain pandemic. But we don't want to talk about that! Think 'Hey Joe', 'Purple Haze' and 'The Wind Cries Mary.'
