I was lucky enough to visit Snap Galleries in London last week to view the Silverstein exhibition http://www.snapgalleries.com/?page=ExhibitionView&itemid=71/&af=6793 which I have to say is fantastic (attached is one of the photos I took whilst there).

The images are all truly superb and in fantastic quality, plus, for the most part, previously unseen (as the title suggests).

I purchased the '7 x 7 Selected Images' book http://www.snapgalleries.com/shop/product.asp?P_ID=3528&af=6793 but will also be putting my name down for a copy of the limited edition, large format, 'Can You See Me?' book, which hopefully will be produced later this year, based on a minimum order level being reached by the exhibition end date (Aug 23rd).
Go here for more info >http://www.snapgalleries.com/oyp/canyouseeme/?af=6793 or http://www.snapgalleries.com/shop/product.asp?P_ID=3525&CAT_ID=30071/&af=6793 - There's currently a nicely reduced price being offered (one third off the eventual cost), plus reduced mailing charges, for any orders placed during the exhibition period. I'm fairly certain this will turn out to be a highly valued collectors item in years to come. So, you know all those friends and relatives who never know what to get you for your birthday or Christmas, well....

There are also a couple of special offer, very limited prints http://www.snapgalleries.com/?page=NewsView&itemid=605/&af=6793

And for those of you that must have everything there's the Copyright Collection http://www.snapgalleries.com/?page=ExhibitionView&itemid=71/&af=6793

So, for anyone who can't get to see the exhibition, which ends in less than 3 weeks time, there are quite a few 'spin offs' to enable you to grab yourself a piece of photographic Jimi history.

I'm still taking the tablets to overcome the trauma of the slight panic/rush to obtain a cover shot for 104....'skin of our teeth' is a statement that springs to mind
